“My interest in motion-photography was born in me many years ago, achieving that mainly as sports photographer. While enjoying the moving image as a documentary filmmaker I was working with still images. At some point I started to combine both to achieve what I´m doing now.
Mi interés por captar las imágenes en movimiento empezó hace mucho tiempo y lo lograba principalmente en la fotografía de deportes. Mientras gozaba las imágenes en movimiento filmando documentales, seguía trabajando con la fotografía. En algún momento empecé a combinar las dos técnicas para llegar a lo que hago ahora.

The prestiged Gallery Manuel Chacón is hosting this innovative
photo- graphic production.
The 31 works presented in FEELINGS IN MOTION are images plenty of strange elements trying to produce the impact of its forms. Languid tones at dawn, strong highlights in a nude, or difused shapes to show the infinite, all of them coming out from some far corner of the fantasies and being trapped between the crude reality of the camera elements.
In photography, - says alTirado -could be the moving image as in "the movies" or an still image as in one image. At some point I started to combine and achieve what I´m doing now. That is to capture movement in a still image to express a feeling. As the sadness that seems eternal in "I keep calling you" or in the joyful chasing of "The courtship". But I also intend to catch the wind... or the silence... or the sense of an erotic moment.

Los 31 trabajos presentados en SENTIMIENTOS EN MOVIMIENTO, son imágenes llenas de elementos extraños que pretenden causar el impacto de sus formas. Los lánguidos tonos del amanecer. Las luces en contraste sobre la suavidad del desnudo o formas difuses que sugieren el infinito. Todas ellas surgiendo de los rincones de la fantasía para quedar atrapadas dentro de la cruda realidad de los elementos de una cámara.
En fotografía, dice alTirado,la imágen puede ser en movimiento como en el cine (que en inglés se le llama "movies" al cine) o bién, la imágen fija. En algún momento empecé a combinar las dos opciones para llegar a lo que hago ahora. Lo que quiere decir capturar el sentimiento o el movimiento en una imágen fija. Como la tristeza que parece eterna en "Te sigo llamando," o en el alegre movimiento de "El cortejo." También en otras imágenes trato de captar el viento... o el silencio... o el aroma de un momento erótico.
